Kickin Crackers - Spicy Hot Saltine Fire Crackers

I first came across a similar recipe on Pinterest. I was desperate to find a quick and easy snack to bring to a family party. Per usual, I waited until the last minute to figure out what I was going to bring.

I am not the type to spend hours in the kitchen whipping up an elaborate side dish to share at a family party. I’ll leave that up to the other ladies in my family who are much more capable! To my surprise, the crackers ended up being a hit and were especially enjoyed by the spicy snack lovers.

Ingredients For Spicy Hot Saltine Crackers

There are only 4 simple ingredients for this recipe.

1.) Canola Oil

2.) Crushed Red Pepper

3.) Saltines

4.) Hidden Valley The Original Ranch Salad Dressing and Seasoning Mix

Note: There was one occasion where I substituted the saltines with RITZ crackers. Because RITZ crackers are buttery, after a day or so, the crackers seemed to soften up too much and their texture became a bit spongy.
